Fecal microbiota in atopic dermatitis patients, who were diagnosed in Tokushima University hospital, was analysed by Terminal-restriction fragment length polymorphism (T-RFLP) method and culture method. Dietary habits in the subjects were balanced. However, T-RF patterns in their fecal microbiota were different from those in healthy control and ulcerative colitis patients, and the number of T-RFs was not decreased. Total number of bacteria and viable cell number of aerobic bacteria was the same level as healthy control.

对德岛大学附属医院确诊的特应性皮炎患者的粪便菌群进行了末端限制性片段长度多态性（T-RFLP）分析和培养法分析。受试者的饮食习惯是平衡的。然而，他们的粪便微生物群中的T-RF模式与健康对照组和溃疡性结肠炎患者不同，并且T-RF的数量没有减少。细菌总数和需氧菌活细胞数与健康对照组相同。
