Anarchaeological study on the ancient skill of the lead preparation and processing.

对平城宫遗址出土的世纪冶金遗迹进行了详尽的分析和研究，并对古代铅等与冶金有关的技术进行了调查。结果证实，在平条宫遗址东南角存在炼铅、炼铜、炼铁作坊，在皇居/后御殿东外围墙东侧存在炼铅、炼铜、炼金、炼铁作坊或冶金类型的工业。明确了飞鸟时代、平安时代和奈良时代技术的异同。因此，本研究初步了解了奈良时期古国中部地区含铅有色冶金工艺品的面貌。

I analyzed and examined the 8th century metallurgical relics and remains excavated from Heijo palace site exhaustively and investigated into the technology related to the metallurgy such as ancient lead. As that result, it was confirmed that workshops of lead metallurgy, copper metallurgy, iron metallurgy existed on the southeastern corner of Heijo palace site, and that in the eastern stroke of east outer fence of Imperial Domicile/Later Imperial Audience Hall, the workshops or metallurgical types of industry of lead copper metallurgy, copper metallurgy, gold metallurgy and iron metallurgy existed. And the differences or commonness between the technologies of the Asuka age, the Heian Period and Nara period was cleared. And so a taste of the aspect of the nonferrous metallurgical handicrafts including the lead in the central part of the ancient state of Nara period was found out by this study.
