Research on the concept of shortened dental arch by the occlusal observations.

通过咬合分析解决方案（T-Scan^（R）> III咬合分析系统）检查了三名单侧后牙缺失患者（牙弓缩短患者）在最大自主咬合期间的咬合因素。结果表明：1）SDA患者的牙侧咬合平衡大于无牙侧。2)以往的报道中，SDA患者的力中心位置较非SDA患者略前移。3)SDA患者的咬合时间与既往报告中下颌功能障碍患者的咬合时间相对相似。

Three patients with unilaterally posterior missing teeth (Shortened Dental Arch patients) were examined for occlusal factors during maximum voluntary clenching by the Occlusal Analysis Solution (T-Scan^<(R)> III Occlusal Analysis System). We reported as follows : 1) The occlusal balance of SDA patients was larger in the dentulous-side compared to that in the edentulous-side. 2) The center of force of SDA patients was very slightly forward position compared with not-SDA patients in the past report. 3) The occlusion time of SDA patients was relatively similar to that of patients with mandibular dysfunction in the previous report.
