Development of the Web based PBL program to support the improvement of critical thinking in nursing education

本研究的目的是验证基于网络的PBL程序在护理教育中批判性思维的适用性。首先，我们评估了护理教育批判性思维倾向量表的信效度。该量表由五个子量表(怀疑态度、合作态度、坚持不懈、好奇心和逻辑思维自信)15个条目组成。Cranach‘s系数α整体为0.49。外在维度与批判性思维倾向维度呈显著正相关。采用该量表对基于网络的PBL项目进行评估。第二，通过比较PBL学习前后评价量表数值的变化，评估了PBL学习前后护生评判性思维的差异。然而，小样本量在本研究中是有限的。此外，ICT业务系统的开发也是基于Web的PBL项目的另一个主要问题。

The purpose of the study is to confirm the usability of the Web based PBL program to critical thinking in nursing education.First, we assessed the reliability and validity of a critical thinking disposition scale for nursing education. The scale consists of 15-items in five subscales (skeptical attitude, cooperative attitude, perseverance, inquisitive mind, and confidence in logical thinking). The Cranach's coefficient alpha was 0.49 as a whole. A significant positive correlation was seen between the external scales and a critical thinking disposition scale. We used this scale for assessment of the Web based PBL program.Second, we assessed the critical thinking among nursing students between PBL learning with and without use of the web by comparison of change in scale's value before and after PBL learning. However, small sample size is limitation in this study. Moreover, development of ICT operational system is also another major issue in Web based PBL program.
