本研究では,剥離を伴うDNS(直接数値シミュレーション)並列計算コードの開発を平板乱流境界層に対して進めた.その結果,大きな計算領域を用いたDNSの実行に成功し,自由速度と運動量厚さに基づくレイノルズ数で300~2000の範囲のDNSデータベースを構築した.また,研究代表者が今まで実行してきた平行平板間乱流および乱流熱伝達のDNSの基本的な乱流統計量データのWEBにおける公開およびDNSデータを用いた乱流モデルの検証を行った.
