项目摘要

複数の分割不可能な財を、オークションを用いて多数の買い手に配分する問題を考える。特に買い手が個別の財だけでなく、任意の財の組み合わせ(パッケージ)を指定して入札できるオークションのことを組み合わせオークションと呼ぶ。本年度の研究では、ゲーム理論の手法を用いて、様々な組み合わせオークションの均衡配分を特徴づけると共に、買い手の戦略的入札行動の特性について明らかにすることができた。主たる成果は以下の3点である。1.封印入札形式の組み合わせオークションにおける入札参加者の行動について分析した論文"Incentives in Core-Selecting Auctions with Single-Minded Bidders"がゲーム理論に関する国際雑誌であるGames and Economic Behaviorに掲載が決定された。本論文は入札参加者がオークションにおいて真の評価額を表明することが一般に稀であることを示し、国際的にも高く評価されている雑誌に掲載されることに決定した。2.価格せり上げ形式の組み合わせオークションの均衡分析を行った論文"Competing for Free-Riding : Strategic Non-Bidding in an Ascending Package Auction"を幾つかの国際・国内学会において報告し、研究を洗練させた。3.組み合わせオークションの均衡について特徴づけた論文"Core-Implementing Nash Equilibrium in the Vickrey and Some Unstable Mechanisms"及び"Ascending Core-Selecting and Vickrey Auctions"を執筆した。前者は組み合わせオークションの均衡分析に関する既存研究を発展させ、特定の均衡が存在する配分ルールのクラスを特徴づけた。後者は、既存研究によって指摘されている組み合わせオークションの複数均衡問題が、現実にしばしば用いられる価格せり上げ方式を採用することで一定程度解決されることを示した。価格せり上げ方式は、組み合わせオークションを現実の市場設計に応用する上で重要視されることが多いにも関わらず、その理論的性質については未だほとんど研究されていなかった。前項の論文と合わせて、価格せり上げ方式の分析結果は組み合わせオークション研究における重要な発見であると考えており、今後更に研究を洗練させていく予定である。

The former is characterized by the development of existing studies related to the analysis of equilibrium conditions and the existence of specific equilibrium conditions. The latter is a complex equilibrium problem that has been solved to a certain extent in the past. In order to improve the quality of the products, we should pay attention to the quality of the products and the quality of the products.
