当該年度における研究活動としては、吸収源CDM政策、REDD政策及びJ-VER制度に関する情報収集、投稿論文の作成及び学会での口頭発表、研究プロジェクトへの新規参加、を主に実施した。海外調査については、2010年に引き続き、2度目の調査をタンザニアで実施した。調査結果については、学会及びセミナーで公表し、REDDにおける地域性の重要性、地域的不均衡への懸念、を指摘した。これらの研究結果は、2012年度に2本の論文にまとめて投稿する。J-VER制度に関する情報は2010年度より継続的に収集し、吸収源CDMとJ-VERの比較、北秋田事業を事例とした関係アクターからのJ-VER制度の評価、についてまとめた論文をそれぞれ2012年度中に投稿する予定である。投稿論文については、主に前年度に投稿した論文への査読対応(英文2本、和文1本)を行い、下記(1)、(2)の英文2本が受理された。それぞれの概要は以下の通りである。(1)日本企業を対象として実施した質問票調査結果より、吸収源CDMの認知度は高いものの大半の企業の参加状況は情報収集段階に留まっており、CSRは企業の吸収源CDM推進の誘因としては不十分であること、(2)フィジー・ケニア調査結果より、特定の環境植林型の吸収源CDM事業が適応策としての機能を持つこと、(3)レジームの政策形成過程を分析し、力、利益、知識といった要因が、いずれも吸収源CDMを有用性の高いレジームとし、かつ政策を推進する方向には働かなかったこと、を明らかにした。また、2011年度より新たに3つの研究プロジェクトに参加した。うち1つでは、森林環境・生物多様性分野におけるアジアの環境制度の現状と有効性について研究を行い、制度・メンバーシップの重複、インフォーマルな制度としての形成、インセンティブ・メカニズムの不在、といった特徴を指摘した。研究成果は書籍(分担執筆)として刊行される。

During the year, research activities will include information collection, preparation of submitted papers, oral presentations, participation in new regulations for research projects, and implementation of initiatives related to CDM policies, REDD policies, and J-VER systems. Overseas investigations were carried out in 2010 and 2012. The results of the survey include the importance of REDD, regional imbalance and suspense. The results of this study were published in 2012. Information on J-VER system is collected in 2010, comparison of absorption sources CDM and J-VER, case study of Kita-Akita business, evaluation of J-VER system, paper submission in 2012. For papers submitted in the previous year, please refer to (1) and (2) below. A summary of the following is provided. (1)Japanese companies 'response to CDM implementation questionnaire survey results show that most of the companies' participation status in CDM is higher than that in the information collection stage, CSR is less than that in the incentives for CDM implementation, and (2) the results of the survey show that the CDM business of specific environmental vegetation types is more suitable for CDM implementation.(3) Analysis of the policy formation process, power, interests, knowledge, and key factors, including the absorption of CDM sources, the usefulness of CDM, and the direction of policy advancement. 2011 1.
