オーストリア学派の主観主義的貨幣論の現代的再検証として経済実験を行い、貨幣取引市場における経済主体の主観的な行動決定原理、およびその決定メカニズムについて検証を行った。具体的には、貨幣的インセンティブを与えられた被験者に、チーム内における収益分配を行わせ、被験者の公平性観念のパターン及びパターンの状況変化の分析を行った。これらの公平性観念に関する実験結果のデータ解析及び分析を行い、The Flexibility of Fairness Ideals : An Experimental Approachと題した論文にまとめ、The Econometric Society Australasian Meeting 2012にて研究発表を行った。先行する研究(Cappelen 2007)(Hoffman 1990)では収益分配に際しての公平性観念は各個人にとって不変であり、定常的であることを前提に価値関数が想定されていた。しかし本研究によれば、各個人の分配原理は個人の置かれた状況、とりわけチームメンバーとの相対収益に依存して変化する。すなわち相対収益が多かった被験者は自由主義的分配(実力に応じた分配)を採る有為な傾向があり、相対収益の低かった被験者は平等主義的な分配を採る有為な傾向が観察された。本研究の実験結果は、社会制度構築及び政策論に大きな示唆をもたらしうる。すなわち社会福祉政策や年金、保険、相続といった社会的分配過程において、多数の人々が同一の分配原理を妥当であると考えるのではなく、それぞれの置かれた立場によって分配原理を変えることを前提するならば、社会的公正関数の解釈も大きく変化するであろう。マクロレベルにおける適用は今後の研究の課題であるが、本研究で明らかにされた個人の公平性に関する主観的判断の状況依存性は、社会福祉政策に大きな示唆を与えうる。

The results of this study are as follows: social system construction and policy theory. Social welfare policies include pension, insurance, and social distribution. Most people agree with the same distribution principle. This study is intended to address future research topics, including the status dependence of subjective judgments on individual fairness and social welfare policies.
