Biomarkers and Gene-Environment Interaction in Irritable Bowel Syndrome

现代社会需要解决压力相关疾病的关键，而肠易激综合征（IBS）就是其中的代表之一。本研究的目的是阐明肠易激综合征中基因-环境相互作用的病理生理学，包括心理社会因素、肠道微生物群和生物标志物。结果表明，肠道菌群及其产物明显异常，压力、一些细胞因子和包括血清素相关基因在内的易感基因的影响一致。在这一问题上，需要进一步研究基因与环境的相互作用

Modern society needs keys to cope with stress-related disorders of which irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is representative one. The purpose of this study is clarify the pathophysiology of gene-environment interaction including psychosocial factors, gut microbiota, and biomarkers in IBS. Results indicated distinct abnormalities in gut microbiota and their products, consistent effects of stress, some cytokines, and susceptible genes including serotonin-related genes. Further studies on gene-environment interaction in this issue are warranted
