Study of administrative systems and the conveyance of information onstate affairs in medieval Japanese court society.

在这项研究中，我把重点放在中下级官员的活动上，他们从事实际操作来管理法院，同时试图提供对“中世纪时期”的更全面的了解。我从人事组织、经济基础的变化、国事信息的传播、朝廷与白居易的关系等方面进行了具体考察，并收集和介绍了学者们没有充分利用的朝廷期刊。相信这项研究不仅对对宫廷感兴趣的研究者有用，而且对中世纪日本史、日本文学、艺术史等不同领域也有裨益。

In this study, I focused on the activities of middle and lower ranking officials who engaged in practical operations to run the court while attempting to provide a fuller understanding of the “medieval period.” I specifically investigated different aspects such as personnel organizations, changes in the economic foundation, and the conveyance of information on state affairs, as well as the relationship between the court and the bakufu.I also collected and introduced courtier journals of which scholars have failed to fully utilize. I believe that this study is useful not only for researchers who are interested in the court, but it also benefits different fields such as medieval Japanese history,Japanese literature, and art history.
