Small-scale Multi-functional in-Home Care (SMC) and home care service connected to rural and town locales have become support systems for everyday life. It has become necessary for long term home care in underpopulated areas to also contain tosome degree, medical, welfare and public service systems while helping clients keep relations with friends and family as well as their usual lifestyles. One trial program has developed enterprises symbiotic to business for long term care of elderly and disabled in SMC’s. It is also expected that such programs will also double as a second source for publicservices.
