Strengthening of support and counseling functions for patients with mental disorder in psychiatric outpatient units

本研究有助于为精神障碍患者及其家属建立门诊支持系统。目的是通过调查精神科门诊部的支持和挑战的性质，找到支持早期发现和预防疾病进展，防止精神障碍患者和家属再次住院，促进社区生活的方法。1)在精神科急诊医院(超级急诊)，对出院患者的全国范围内的护理管理者进行调查，以获得医院的出院支持和门诊护理。2)出院时缺乏支持，包括与门诊护理和家庭护理的合作。也缺乏对家庭进行社区生活的支持。3)我们根据调查结果制定了门诊援助计划。

This research contributed to establish a support system at outpatient visits for patients with mental disorder and their families. The goal was to find ways to support early detection and prevention of progression of the illness, prevention of re-hospitalization for patients with mental disorder and families, and promoting community living, by investigating nature of support and challenges at the psychiatric outpatient units.1) At psychiatric emergency hospitals(super emergency), nationwide survey to nursing administrator about patients who were discharged was conduced for hospital's discharge support and outpatient care.2) The lack of support in discharge, including cooperation with outpatient care and family care became clear.There was a lack of support for families to have a community life as well.3) We have developed outpatient assistance program based on the result.
