Cultural developmental psychopathology: Cognitive regulation and emotional regulation in peer relation

本研究从文化比较的角度考察了认知调节和情绪调节与人际适应之间的因果关系。自闭症婴儿的哭声比典型发育中的婴儿的哭声更痛苦，停顿的时间长短和基本频率决定了听者的负面感知。婴儿面部温度(情绪反应)上升，成人面部温度下降，不分种族。相反，在认知反应上，日本受试者希望接近日本成年人的脸，而不是高加索成年人的脸。本研究还考察了日本、美国、土耳其、马来西亚等国学龄前儿童的父母养育和自我调节。我们将在这些国家的合作研究人员收集数据后对这些数据进行分析。

This research project examines the causal relationship between "cognitive regulation and emotion regulation" and interpersonal adjustment from a cultural comparative point of view. The cry of ASD infant are perceived more distress than the cry of typical developmental infant, and the length of the pauses, and fundamental frequency determines listeners' negative perceptions.The facial temperature (emotional response) on infant face is rise and temperature on adult face is down, regardless of the race of face.On the contrary, in cognitive response, Japanese subjects want to be approach to Japanese adult face but avoid the Caucasian adult face.This research project also examines parental rearing and self-regulation of preschool children among Japanese, US, Turkey, Malaysia. We will analyze these data, after co-researchers of these countries collect their data.
