A Study on the Regional Revitalization and Potential Sustainability of Public Space in East Asia

东亚城市具有将公共空间作为生活空间的历史相似性。而了解如何利用空间共性元素进行区域振兴是非常重要的。本研究的目的在于：●东亚城市公共空间结构的形态系统化分析。●分析公共空间的控制系统和使用程序。●以台湾台北的12个市场、中国上海的4个市场和韩国首尔的13个市场为例，分析了它们的公共空间控制系统和使用程序的特点。●以千叶县阳伞廊为例，分析公共空间利用对城市景观改善和区域振兴的影响。

The cities of the East Asia has the historic similarity that used public space as life space. And it is very important to know regional revitalization approach to use spatial common elements.The purpose of this study is the followings:●Systematization of Public space structure by the morphologic analysis in East Asia cities. And●to analyze the control systems and use procedures of public space. The results are the followings:●We analyzed case of 12 markets of Taipei, Taiwan, 4 markets of Shanghai, China, and 13 markets of Seoul, Korea, and explained the characteristics of their control system and use procedures of public space.●We analyzed the effect of the public space use on townscape improvement and regional revitalization through parasol gallery in Chiba.
