英文摘要
We previously reported that Glypican-3, a heparan sulfate proteoglycan, was overexpressed in clear cell carcinoma of ovary. We evaluated function of Glypican-3 in clear cell carcinoma of ovary. We showed that Glypican-3 was associated with cell growth inhibition in IGF-II dependent way through PI3K/AKT axis.Glypican-3 expression was associated with short progression-free survival in early stage clear cell carcinoma of ovary patients. We evaluated cytotoxicity of the anti-Glypican-3 antibody. Although cytotoxicity of the anti Glypican-3 antibody was confirmed in vitro, no longer survival time was seen by combination therapy of paclitaxel and anti Glypican-3 antibody in vivo.
