本年度は申請書に記載した計画に従い、動学的な要素を取り入れたコミュニケーションモデルの構築、および昨年度に執筆した論文の報告に取り組んだ。動学的コミュニケーションに関する研究では、分権的な組織においてはエージェント間でお互いのメッセージを確認し合いながらコミュニケーションを行うことでその効率性を高めることができることを示した。この結果は、分権的組織においては部下同士のディスカッション形式の情報共有が好ましいことを示唆している。カンファレンス等で該当分野の先生方からいただいたコメントや示唆を通して、昨年度に執筆した論文は2つの要素(プリンシパル(リーダー)の非合理的な側面、意思決定プロセス)を1つのモデルで考察しているためモデルが過度に煩雑になっていることがわかった。そこで、本年度ではプリンシパルの非合理的な側面にテーマを絞り該当論文の大規模な修正を行った。論文では、i)プリンシパル(P)_エージェント(A)間の非対称情報が深刻、ii)P-A間の意見対立の程度が深刻、およびiii)A-A間の意見対立の程度が緩やかである組織において、1)リーダーの他者に意見に対する許容性、2)従業員との関係性を重視する傾向、および3)自分のコミュニケーションスキルに対する自信、が組織のコミュニケーションの質とそのパフォーマンスを改善することを示した。さらに、プリンシパルは自分の持っている私的選好について、仮にそれを自由に表明できるとしても、自発的に表明する情報は極めて限定的であり、また一切情報を表明しない方がエージェントとのコミュニケーションの質を改善できることを示した。この分析結果は、現実で観察される典型的な日本型リーダー像(例えば松下幸之助など)の好ましい側面とそれがうまく機能する状況を捉えており、経済学分野におけるリーダーシップ研究に新しい知見をもたらしている。
