The Cult of Saint Death as the Mexican Popular Culture has following characteristics.1)Appropriating the existing cultural resources including social space such as Tepito districtgranted with negative image, 2)providing an identity of subordinate social ranks to their Believers, and 3) swaying the existing cultural category. On the other hands, the Cult possesses verbal manifestations at global, national, and local levels, characterized as categorization by uncertain verbal explanation. At the same time, it has confirmed that in the movement of minorityreligion, there are some categories about legitimacy and heresy, and that there is more social sanction to the institutional movement.

圣死崇拜作为墨西哥流行文化具有以下特点。1)侵占被赋予负面形象的Tepito区等社会空间等现有文化资源；2)为其信徒提供从属社会阶层的身份认同；3)动摇现有的文化范畴。另一方面，邪教在全球、国家和地方层面都有语言表现，其特点是通过不确定的语言解释进行分类。同时，它也证实了在少数民族宗教运动中，存在着合法性和异端的分类，并且对制度运动有更多的社会制裁。
