A research on the rent of the US military bases in Okinawa prefecture

本文是对美军基地土地租金的研究。S.由日本政府支付。本研究的一个重点是，作为地主的当地居民如何支付租金，支付了多少租金，以及谁作为主要参与者承担了这种租金分配的角色。令人吃惊的是，冲绳的北方区和中间区在租金分配上存在很大差异，美军基地就位于这些地区。在北方，官府在租务分配上起着主导作用，而在中部地区，民间则起着重要作用。这是因为中部的大部分出租土地为个人所有，而土地所有者主要是北方的地方政府。其他研究点仍有待发现。

This is a study on the rent for lands used as military bases by the U. S. government and paid by Japanese government. One of the points of this research on the rent is how and how much it has been and is paid among local residents as landlords, and who has taken the role of this rent distribution as a main player. One astonishing finding is that there is a big difference between northern district and middle district of Okinawa in terms of rent allocation ; the US military bases are located in those districts. In the northern the officials take the initiative of dealing with rent allocation, on the other hand local civil people play a big part in the middle district. That is because large portion of the rental lands in the middle is owned by individuals while landowners are mainly local governments in the northern. And other research points still remain to be found.
