Assessment of ileal pouch mucosa after total proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis

回肠贮袋肛管吻合术（IPAA）是治疗“溃疡性结肠炎（UC）”和“家族性腺瘤性息肉病（FAP）”的标准手术。眼袋炎是IPAA后的主要并发症，其发病机制尚不清楚。本研究的目的是评价IPAA后贮袋粘膜基因表达的时间依赖性变化，结肠粘膜和小肠粘膜基因表达的差异，以及“回肠间置”小鼠和假手术小鼠基因表达的差异。

Restorative proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) is a standard operation for patients with "Ulcerative colitis (UC)" and "Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP)". Pouchitis is a major complication after IPAA, which pathogenesis is unknown. The aim of this study is to evaluate (1) the time-dependent change of the gene expression at the pouch mucosa after IPAA, (2) the differences of gene expressions between colonic mucosa and small intestinal mucosa, and (3) the difference of gene expressions between "ileal interposition" mouse and sham mouse.
