我们研究了尿毒症毒素对肝脏药物代谢酶蛋白表达的影响。结果表明，IS、PCS和CMPF均能增加CYP2E1和SUL T1A1的表达，而全段PTH也能增加SUL T1A1的表达，且呈剂量依赖性。接下来我们研究了PCS对肾小管毒性的影响。PCS通过OATs在肾小管细胞内蓄积，可增强NADPH氧化酶活性，增加ROS产生。这反过来又引发了炎症细胞因子的诱导，这些细胞因子参与了肾毒性。

We investigated the effect of uremic toxins on protein expression of hepaticdrug metabolizing enzymes. As a results, IS, PCS and CMPF increased the expression of CYP2E1 andSUL T1A1, and intact PTH also increased SUL T1A1 in dose-dependent manner . Next we examined theeffect of PCS on renal tubular toxicity . Intracellular accumulation of PCS via OA Ts in renal tubular cellsenhanced NADPH oxidase activity and increased ROS production. This, in turn, triggers the inductionof inflammatory cytokines that are involved in renal toxicity .
