本研究は、原料調達から製品販売までのフードシステムにおける不完全競争構造や価格伝達を明らかにすることを目的とする。その目的達成のため、(1)市場構造および市場行動に関する実態調査、(2)マイクロデータを利用した企業レベルの市場支配力の推計、(3)双方寡占における市場支配力の理論モデルの確立、(4)多段階構造モデルによる市場支配力と価格伝達の実証分析、(5)産業集中度の変化が及ぼす影響に関する構造モデル分析、(6)不完全競争を考慮した一般均衡モデルによるシミュレーション分析、を行う。本年度はこのうち、(1)に関しては、穀物流通産業の市場構造および市場行動に関する実態調査を行うこととした。分析結果から、米国の穀物輸出産業は、全米レベルの市場構造は競争的水準である一方で、東アジア向け輸出港においては1990年代末以降集中度が増大し、寡占的な市場構造となっていることが明らかとなった。(4)については、これまでの分析結果を国内外の学会で発表することとし、大豆、菜種、マグロ類の分析について、それぞれカナダ農業経済学会、米国農業応用経済学会、日本フードシステム学会等で個別報告を行った。一方、(2)、(3)、(5)に関する本年度の課題は、分析手法について、既存研究のサーベイを含め、研究を行うことであった。ここでは、最新の関連研究が推進されているコネチカット大学において意見交換を行い、研究の意義を確認するとともに、最新の理論および実証分析手法に関する情報提供を受け、研究を行った。(6)については、GTAPを用いたCGEモデルに習熟することを課題とし、勉強会を開催して専門家の指導を受けた。本年度の研究により、次年度以降の課題を遂行する上で不可欠な知見を得た。本年度の研究成果を応用し発展させることで、食品原料の海外依存度が高い日本の食料政策や、近年の穀物価格高騰の影響に関する政策的含意を導出し、政策提言を行うことが可能となる。

This study aims at improving the quality of raw materials and improving the quality of products. (1) Investigation of market structure and market action;(2) Estimation of market power of enterprises using market structure;(3) Theoretical establishment of market power of dual-party oligopoly;(4) Empirical analysis of market power and market action of multi-stage structure;(5) Structural analysis of industrial concentration and its influence;(6) General equilibrium analysis considering imperfect competition. This year, we conducted a survey on the market structure and market actions of the grain circulation industry. The analysis results show that the market structure of grain export industry in China is opposite to that of competition in the whole country, and the market structure of export port in the east is opposite to that of competition in the late 1990s. (4)The results of the analysis were reported by the Chinese and foreign societies, such as the Agricultural Economic Society of China, the American Agricultural Economic Society, and the Japanese Agricultural Society. 1.(2),(3) and (5). This year's topic, analysis method, existing research, research and implementation. The latest research is needed to promote the exchange of ideas, confirm the significance of the research, provide information on the latest theoretical and empirical analysis methods, and conduct research. (6)In addition, GTAP is used to promote the development of CGE, which is a topic of study and guidance for the family. This year's research and next year's research projects will be carried out without any knowledge.
