The purpose of this research project is to study behaviors of unemployment and employment over business-cycles both theoretically and empirically. This research project established several stylized facts on the cyclical behavior of the labor market in Japan and the U.S. I also examine a cyclical behavior of a search and matching model in the Japanese labor market. Outputs of the research project are published in international refereed journals.

本研究的目的是从理论和实证两方面研究失业和就业在经济周期中的行为。本研究项目建立了关于日本和美国劳动力市场周期性行为的几个程式化事实。我还研究了日本劳动力市场的搜索和匹配模型的周期性行为。研究项目的成果发表在国际权威期刊上。
