项目摘要

本研究にて提案する英語スピーキングの自学自習法である，改良DLS法のモバイルアプリケーションの開発を完了させ，アプリケーションの自学自習と，授業中におけるワークシートを用いたペアワークを組み合わせた新しい学習デザインを設計した．この学習デザインでは，学習者は予めモバイルアプリケーションでの自学自習を行う．短い新聞記事を読み，その要約をスピーキングする．モバイルアプリケーションは，スピーキングのための足場掛けの機能を有する．ペアワークでは自学自習を基にしたスピーキングと振り返りを行う．ペアワークで学習者が使用するワークシートは，自宅学習における学びを可視化し，ペアによる振り返りを促すデザインとなっている．この新しい学習デザインの実証をするために，2015年6月に1ヶ月間実験を行い，その実験の結果を踏まえて学習デザインを改良し，2015年11月に1か月間再度実験を行った．東京都内の大学の学部生の英語の授業の中で，6月には22名，11月には25名の受講生に対し，開発したモバイルアプリケーションで予習を行い，ペアワークを行ってもらった．その結果，自学自習における継続性に一定の効果が見られることが示唆された．6月の実験においては学習効果の分析も終了し，流暢さに一定の効果が見られることが示唆された．2015年6月の実証実験の結果を2015年12月2日に国際会議ICCE2015 (International Conference on Computers in Education)にて発表したところ，Best Poster Awardを受賞した．
