本年度は，昨年度JSPS-ERC特別研究員として英国に滞在して行った研究である「ヴァーチャルリアリティ空間における他者の心の理解に関する研究」を引き続き行った。また，採用の最終年度でもあるため，3年間の研究成果の発信にも尽力した。具体的には，4月から5月は英国に滞在して成人を対象とした心理学実験を行い，データの収集を行った。その結果，成人において，相手が自分と同じ集団に属している時の方が，自分とは異なる集団に属している時よりも心を理解しやすいことがわかった。この研究の成果は現在国際誌に投稿中である。また，5月の電子情報通信学会，9月の日本心理学会でも研究の成果を報告した。日本心理学会では本研究の発表が学術大会優秀発表賞を受賞した。9月にはオランダのユトレヒトで開催された欧州発達心理学会，英国のストラットフォードアポンエイヴォンで開催された英国心理学会発達部門の国際学会に参加し，PD採用時より継続して行っている幼児期における他者の心の理解に関する研究の成果を報告した。特に，年中児では具体的な友人の誤った信念は理解できるが，抽象的な他者である物語の登場人物の誤った信念は理解が難しい一方で，年長児ではどちらの誤った信念も理解できることを報告した英国心理学会発達部門ではポスター発表賞を受賞した。3年間の中でメインで行った幼児を対象とした研究とJSPS-ERC特別研究員として英国で成人を対象に行った研究のどちらでも大きな成果を得ることができた。
