项目摘要

2017年度には、①ウガンダ共和国北西部での現地調査、②国内外の学会とワークショップでの口頭発表、③投稿論文等の執筆を行なった。以下にそれぞれ詳細を記す。①アジュマニ県はじめウェスト・ナイル地方9県（2018年3月末時点）における調査で、難民と地元民への聞き取りを行なった。また、これまでウガンダ現地や英国で収集してきた資料の精査が進んだ。調査地に現存する資料から、1980年代～2000年代のウェスト・ナイル地方の詳しい治安状況が明らかになった。そこには、この地方から周辺国へ難民が流出する背景となった緒事件について記述があり、当時の地方政府や地域住民らがどう対応したのかが伺える。また、1990年代以降の帰還民への支援についても報告されていた。これらの資料から、先行研究で言及されてきた大きな事件だけでなく、地域の人びとによって記録され記憶されている出来事について知見を得たことは意義深く、難民と地元民の社会関係を考えるうえでも参考になるものが多かった。②日本アフリカ学会での口頭発表１件（2017年5月に信州大学）、国際ワークショップでの口頭発表２件（2017年8月にウガンダのカンパラ市、9月にロンドン）である。さらに、全国の高等学校からの依頼を受けて出前授業を行なうなど、課題であったアウトリーチ活動は実現した。③最終年度内に学術雑誌に掲載された論文はない。現地調査のなかで得た聞き取りや参与観察のデータを整理し分析すること、撮影した映像や録音記録を書き起こし翻訳する作業を経て、各データを意味づけ、議論のなかに位置づけるために時間がかかっていることが大きな一因である。それらを投稿論文として結実させることは今後の重大な課題である。その他の成果としては、『アフリカ研究』に書評1本、『アジア・アフリカ地域研究』に短報１本などが掲載された。

In 2017, we will conduct field research in the north and west of the Republic of China, conduct oral reports from domestic and foreign societies, and submit papers. The following is a detailed description.①The data collected in the United Kingdom were carefully examined and analyzed. The existing data of the survey site from the 1980s to the 2000s show the details of the local security situation. The local government and the local people of the time are described in the background of the refugee outflow. In the 1990s, the government began to report on the support of the government. We've seen it.② 1 oral submission from Japan Academy of Sciences (Shinshu University, May 2017), 2 oral submissions from international organizations (August 2017, Beijing, September 2017). In addition, colleges and universities across the country have been involved in the implementation of pre-school classes and projects. 3. Academic journals published in the final year In the field investigation, the information was collected, the information was analyzed, the image was recorded, the information was translated, the information was discussed, the time was analyzed, and the information was recorded. The paper will be submitted to the Conference on Science and Technology, and will be presented to the Conference on Science and Technology. The results of the study were published in the book review 1, and the short report 1.
