项目摘要

本研究では、段階的に定性的・定量的双方向の分析アプローチからメンタルトレーニングの効果を立証することを目的とし、実験や調査を進めてきた。平成28年度は、前年度に引き続き2016年リオオリンピック出場を果たしたクライアント(被験者)に対する定性的なアプローチによるアスリートの内省データ収集の為、クライアントの練習拠点にてインタビュー調査を予定通り実施した。競技力向上の視点からの本研究のフィールドワークの成果としては、クライアントのオリンピック入賞が挙げられる。研究成果発表としては、2016年4月に「多面的指標を用いた競技場面での集中状態からみるメンタルトレーニングの効果」として、バイオフィードバック研究に原著論文が掲載された。また、関連論文として2017年1月に「Elite Gymnastics Coaches' Perceptions of Coaching Athletes from Different Cultures」としてInternational Journal of Coaching Scienceにも原著論文が掲載された。加えて、2年間の研究をまとめた研究結果として博士論文も完成し、2016年9月に立命館大学・スポーツ健康科学研究科よりスポーツ健康科学博士の学位を取得した。学位取得後、関西学院大学の専任講師として職を得ることができ、現在は引き続き2020東京オリンピック出場を目指すエリートアスリートのメンタルトレーニングについてフィールドワークを実施中である。
