本年度の研究成果としては次が挙げられる。確率的配分を与えるマッチング市場に関わる研究成果として、家屋配分モデルにおいて事前的効率性（ex ante efficiency）と戦略的操作不可能性（strategy-proofness）のもとで、均等配分下限性（equal division lower bound）や対称性（symmetry）よりも弱意のある公平性を満たすマッチングルールは存在しないということを示した（ただし、各個人はvon Neumann-Morgenstern効用関数で確率的割り当てを評価し、期待効用を最大化する経済主体である）。この結果は、くじメカニズム（lottery mechanism）の設計問題におけるGaleの予想を証明したZhou (1990)の定理をより強めた結果になっており、確率的マッチングメカニズム設計問題における、効率性・インセンティブ両立性・公平性の３者間にある両立不可能性がより深刻なものであることを示している。また、事前効率性のもとで、戦略的操作不可能性をグループ戦略的操作不可能性に強めた場合には、はるかに弱い公平性概念である正値性（positive expected utility guarantee）を満たすマッチングルールが存在しないということも示した。また、複数財割り当て問題（Multiple assignment problem）に間接的に関連する成果として、複数財割り当て問題と並列的マッチング市場を組み合わせたモデルである複数臓器移植ドナー配分問題に関する研究成果を筑波大学ワーキングペーパーシリーズの１編として公開した。
