平成30年度は、平成28年度・平成29年度の成果を踏まえた上で、研究計画に従って「フッサールの立場の批判的検討とその基本的洞察の展開」を遂行するため、以下の三つの作業を行った。第一に、『論理学研究』におけるフッサールの見解を適切に解釈するための参照軸として、現在「メタ意味論」と呼ばれる領域の諸課題を整理した上で、そこにおける一つの具体的な見解としてのガレス・エヴァンズの立場を具体的に検討した。より具体的には、［1］メタ意味論には少なくとも「意味論的値をはじめとする意味論的性質の本性を分析する部門」（以下「概念的部門」）と、「各表現が意味論的値を持つということを成り立たせる基礎的な事実を明らかにする部門」（以下「基礎意味論」）があることを確認した上で、［2］エヴァンズの『指示の諸相』におけるフレーゲ的意義の解釈を、基礎意味論に属する具体的見解を表すものとして解釈した。第二に、『論理学研究』においてフッサールが行なった分析が、メタ意味論に属するものとして解釈できることを確認した。より具体的には、エヴァンズのフレーゲ的意義の解釈を補助線として、『論理学研究』第2巻の主に第1研究・第5研究・第6研究を解釈することを通じて、フッサールが実際に基礎意味論に該当する作業を具体的に遂行していることを確認した。第三に、フッサールの『論理学研究』のいわゆる「現象学」と呼ばれる方法論を、その目的との関係のもとで評価する作業を行なった。より具体的には、［1］『論理学研究』第1巻および第2巻序論での議論を解釈することで、『論理学研究』第2巻の現象学の目的が「基礎意味論に属する探究を通じて概念的部門に属する課題を達成すること」であること、および［2］その方法論には強い内在主義的制約が採用されていることを確認した上で、［3］問題の制約とその目的の間に強い緊張関係が存在することを確認した。
