项目摘要

平成29年度は、フェミニストによる「ケアの倫理」分野の論文と、フェミニストによるアーレント研究の接点を探るべく、フェミニストでありケアの倫理論者である、サラ・ルディックとエヴァ・フェダー・キテイの2000年に行われた議論に注目した。キテイは1999年に、現在の「ケアの倫理」分野の最重要文献の一つとなっている『愛の労働』を出版した。2000年12月には、女性哲学会とアメリカ哲学会東洋部会の共催で、キテイの『愛の労働』についてのシンポジウムが行われた。このシンポジウムの中で、ルディックは、キテイの示す人間像とアーレントの「代表的意義／重要性representative significance」という概念を引き合いに出して、コメントしている。ルディックは、特に、キテイが娘セーシャについての個人的な語りを入れている点を、依存労働と関係性について、これまで理解されてこなかったことを照射するための「代表的な重要性」を有していると指摘した。「ケアの倫理」が「正義の倫理」と対照的なものとして、「具体性はあるが普遍的でないもの」として矮小化された図式に落とし込まれてきた状況に対抗して、アーレント思想における「代表的意義／重要性」概念が、「ケアの倫理」やフェミニズム理論における普遍性のあり方を言語化する際に、重要な役割を果たす可能性があることが分かった。平成29年度の研究成果としては、同志社大学グローバル・スタディーズ研究科編集の雑誌『ＲＯＮＤＯ論堂』（１号）のコラムとして、現代日本の女性の「疎外」の状況について発表した。また、雑誌『女たちの21世紀』（92号）に、アーレントの書名『暗い時代の人々』のオマージュとして書かれた森まゆみ著『暗い時代の人々』の書評を発表した。
