本研究の目的は、モンゴル国バヤンウルギー県で演奏されるカザフ音楽の社会主義期の形成過程と現代の実践を、カザフスタンや周辺国からの「音楽の越境」に焦点を当てて明らかにすることである。バヤンウルギー県は、モンゴル国内でもカザフ人が人口の9割を占める県である。これまでの研究では、カザフ音楽の民俗学的な側面が注目されてきたが、本研究は、そこに国際関係に影響を受ける文化の視点を取り入れることで、従来とは異なるカザフ音楽の様態の解明が期待できる。2018年度は、モンゴル国への5か月間とカザフスタンへの約2か月間、以下の2点に焦点を当てて調査を行った。1点目は、モンゴル国バヤンウルギー県にある音楽アーカイブズの設立の歴史と収蔵音源の内容の精査である。1960年代のソ連とモンゴルを取り巻く国際関係と、国とモンゴルで国境を跨いで居住するカザフ人の民族間関係の中で、ラジオ局の支部がモンゴル国バヤンウルギー県に設置された結果、この音楽アーカイブズが設立された。そのため、当アーカイブズに収録された曲は、社会主義期に持ち込まれた音響メディアにモンゴル国のカザフ人の音源が大量に残されていることを明らかにした。以上の研究内容は、2回の学会発表において学術的な批判を得た後、国際誌に投稿し、現在マイナーリビジョンの状態である。2点目は、社会主義体制崩壊後のモンゴル国における宴の司会業の活発化と音響メディアの関連性である。1990年代から、大規模な宴会場が調査地で設立され始め、宴の規模が拡大化した。そして、宴を進行する司会業がバヤンウルギー県内で注目され始めた。各世代の司会者への聞き取り調査を通じて、音響メディアの国境を越えた流通が彼らの司会の活動に大きく影響を受けていることを明らかにした。この内容は、現在論文として取りまとめている最中である。

The purpose of this study is to focus on the formation process of the socialist period and the modern practice of music and music in China. The population of the country is divided into nine groups.
