项目摘要

【日本語】昨年度に引き続き、2022年度もコロナ禍により、訪玖がかなわず、ハバナのヘミングウェイ博物館での調査活動ができなかった。しかしながら、2023年では5月にキューバでの研究発表、8月には博物館での資料調査を予定している。関連業績としては、キューバの資料を分析し、米研究ジャーナルのThe Hemingway Review に "Hemingway's Roadmaps in Cuba: "The Strange Country" as a Postwar Road Narrative" と題する論文を掲載することができた。また、同じくキューバの資料分析より、「『黄金の腕』に記された「メアリーに捧げる詩」 ―『河を渡って木立の中へ』の創作をめぐって― 」と題する発表を日本ヘミングウェイ協会全国大会にて発表することができた。【英語】As in the previous year, I was unable to visit Cuba in 2022 due to the Corona disaster, and was unable to conduct research activities at the Hemingway Museum in Havana. However, in 2023, I plan to present my research in Cuba in May and conduct research at the museum in August. As a related accomplishment, I analyzed Cuban materials and were able to publish an article titled "Hemingway's Roadmaps in Cuba: "The Strange Country" as a Postwar Road Narrative" in The Hemingway Review, an American research journal. Also, based on the analysis of Cuban documents, I was able to present a paper titled "The Poem for Mary in 'The Golden Arm': On the Creation of 'Across the River and into the Trees'" at the national conference of the Hemingway Society of Japan.
