本研究の目的は、言語能力の基本設計を再考し、①「語・形態内の音韻表示構築過程」と ②「言語構造の音声的外在化の仕組み」を解明することである。その結果もたらされる研究成果は、ヒトの言語能力の基本設計のみならず、言語運用能力、言語獲得過程のメカニズム、歴史的音韻変化の解明に大きく寄与するものと考えられる。①について本研究では、従来の研究と異なり，音韻表示も統語部門で構築されると考える。そして②についても、部門により異なるのではなく，統語表示の外在化過程と同じ仕組みで、音韻構造も音声的に具現化（例 線形化、強勢付与、分節音弱化）されると考える。本研究では、これらを理論的に明らかにすると同時に、諸言語の音韻現象を参照・分析し、考案モデルの妥当性を検討している。「語・形態素内の音韻構造構築過程」と「言語構造の音声的外在化の仕組み」を明らかにし、かつ上記のモデルの妥当性を探るために、研究計画書に従い、研究代表者（A班）は、(i)様々な音韻現象を分析し、形態素内表示として理論的に妥当な音韻構造を今年度検討した。他方、研究分担者（B班）は、(ii)形態素内音韻表示の想定され得る構築過程を比較・検討した。いずれも、先行研究と最新の研究動向を把握した上で行われた。(i)の調査研究により、以上の研究成果は、国内外の5つの学会、および3つの学術雑誌で発表された。また研究成果の中には、書籍の一章分にまとめられ発表されたものもある。

The purpose of this study is to reexamine the basic design of speech ability,(1) to explain the process of phonological representation in speech morphology, and (2) to explain the externalization of phonological structure in speech structure. The results of this study include the basic design of speech ability, speech utilization ability, speech acquisition process, phonological interpretation of history, and the investigation of speech ability. 1. This study is based on the study of phonemes and the construction of language departments. In addition, the process of externalization of unified language representation and the process of phonological structure and sound realization (e.g., linearization, strong assignment, and syllable weakening) are also examined. This study aims to investigate the appropriateness of speech phonemes based on the theory of phonology. "Phonological Construction Process in Language Morpheme" and "Externalization of Phonological Structure in Speech" are discussed in detail. The appropriateness of phonological structure is explored. The research proposal is presented. The research representative (Class A) analyzes phonological phenomena. The proper phonological structure of morpheme expression theory is discussed in this year. The other side, the study participant (B class),(ii) the morphological element phoneme representation and the construction process of the idea are compared and discussed. The latest research trends should be grasped. (i)The above research results are published in five academic societies at home and abroad. The results of this research are presented in the following chapters:
