To develop an improved grading management system for task-based language instruction

We completed the Phase 1 of our research project by March 31st, 2023 on schedule and having used 89.4% of our projected budget. Phase 1 was to develop a prototype grade sheet that can support task-based language teaching within a large and coordinated EFL program. We have now developed and implemented the tool across 114 classes of the program, and are starting to gather user data.To facilitate implementation, we organized a local symposium on grading and assessment on June 18, 2022. This allowed us to gather feedback and train the teachers in the program. In February, 2023, we presented our first report at the Cambodia TESOL conference, where we could also gather feedback from a number of international colleagues.We are currently proceeding as planned with the Phase 2 of the project.
