2022年度は、本研究の課題(0)ロールズ革命とスキナー革命以後における政治理論研究と政治思想史研究の対話と相互貢献の可能性の模索を念頭に、主に(1)ロールズ革命以降の政治理論研究の思想史的な検討と(3)政治思想史と政治理論の具体的な対話と相互的貢献の試みの検証という二つの課題に取り組んだ。(1)については、ロールズによって決定的な方向づけが行われた現代の市民的不服従（Civil Disobedience）論についての最新の研究であるウィリアム・ショイアマン『市民的不服従』（人文書院、2022年）について、小田川と監訳者の森とで検討を行ない、ゲストスピーカーとしてロールズ研究で名高い田中将人氏を招聘し、合評会（2023年3月）を行なった。また、日本18世紀学会啓蒙思想の百科事典編集委員会編『啓蒙思想の百科事典』（丸善出版、2023）に「ホッブズ」の項目を寄稿した。(3)については、安武が、日本イギリス哲学会（2023年3月26日、愛知教育大学）で研究報告「ロック『統治二論』におけるスコットランド」を行ない、前掲『啓蒙思想の百科事典』に「共和主義」と「『マキァヴェリアン・モーメント』（ポーコック）」を寄稿し、石川が、『中央公論』2022年7月号に「アメリカ合衆国はエンパイアの夢を見るかー170年の自由の歴史から始まった国」を寄稿し、遠藤が、国際学会 Carl Schmitt: Der Nomos der Erde - Kritik und Kreise des eurozentrischen Voelkerrechts -（2022）で招待講演 "Carl Schmitts Nomos der Erde und die ostasiatische Weltordnung" を、国際学会 Gastvortrag des Instituts fuer Rechts- und Verfassungsgeschichte der Universitaet Wien（2023）で招待講演 "Artikel 48 der Weimarer Verfassung: Hugo Preuss und Carl Schmitt im Streit ueber den 'Diktaturartikel'" を行なった。
