本研究は、2000年代以降、日本で存在感を増しているアクティビストに焦点を当て、その特徴と対象企業への影響を分析することが目的である。アクティビストに関する研究は、欧米では蓄積があるものの、日本における研究は少ない。さらに、日本における先行研究は、2000年代前半を対象としたものが殆どであった。一方、2010年代半ばに企業統治に関わる制度が変化したため、その影響を反映する2010年代後半以降に焦点を当てた研究を行うことに、学術的な意義があると考える。研究は当初の計画より早く進んでいる。2022年度には、前任校の卒業生との共同研究として進めてきた、① アクティビズム第1波と第2波の比較についての研究、②株主提案に対する対象企業の株価反応についての研究、③議決権行使助言会社の賛否推奨レポートが対象企業の株価に与える影響を分析した研究、の3つの研究を完成させた。①は慶應経営論集、②はInternational Review of Economics and Finance、③はFinance Research Lettersに掲載された。②は4つの国際学会で発表を行った。2023年度以降は、議決権行使助言会社の推奨が議案賛成率に与える影響についての研究を完成させる予定である。この研究は、前任校の卒業生との共同研究として準備を進めている。具体的には、2010年3月～2022年3月に議決権行使助言会社による推奨があった株主総会の議案1025件を対象とし、以下の３つの分析を進めている。一つは、議決権行使助言会社の推奨が議案賛成率に与える影響について重回帰分析を行っている。次に、議決権行使助言会社の推奨に対する企業の声明が、議案賛成率に与える影響について重回帰分析を行う。第三に、2017年以降の議決権行使助言会社の影響力が強まったのかどうかについて測定するため、チャウ・テストを行う。

This study aims to analyze the impact of the growing presence of Japanese companies since the 2000s on their characteristics and business environment. The study of the relationship between the European Union and Japan is very important. The first half of the 2000's was the first half of the 2000's. In the second half of the 2010s, the focus of research on corporate governance changed and its impact was reflected. The original plan of the study was to advance as early as possible. In 2022, the joint research of former and former students was completed;(1) the first and second wave of comparative research;(2) the research of corporate counter-investment of target companies for corporate proposals;(3) the analysis of the impact of corporate counter-investment of target companies on the approval of executive support companies; and (4) the research of three aspects. 1) International Review of Economics and Finance; 2) Finance Research Letters. 2. The International Academy of Sciences has launched a series of activities. Since 2023, the resolution has been carried out by the Association for the Promotion of Proposals, the approval rate of proposals, and the impact of the study. This research is conducted jointly with former graduates and students. For details, from March 2010 to March 2022, 1025 proposals were submitted by the Executive Advisory Committee, and the following 3 proposals were analyzed. A resolution is used to promote the motion approval rate and the impact of the resolution. Second, the resolution of the implementation of the advisory committee's promotion of the company's statement, the approval rate of the motion and the impact of the review analysis Third, since 2017, the influence of the Executive Advisory Committee has been strengthened.
