先行研究および家族介護者へのインタビューをもとに，介護力評価尺度試作版を作成し，内容妥当性および表面妥当性が担保された．今後は家族介護者へ試作版を配布・回収し，構成概念妥当性，信頼性などを検証する．介護力評価尺度開発にあたっっては，本尺度によって①在宅介護破綻のリスクがわかるようになること，②介護上の具体的問題を可視化することを目指している．本尺度は，①，②の評価から家族支援の方策を講じるためのものであり，社会的意義も深いと考える．
