発達障害児者が抱えている就学や就労、日常生活における「困り感」などの問題に対し、教育機関が積極的に支援していくことは重要である。経団連の調査では企業が新卒採用選考で重視した点として「コミュニケーション能力」が16年連続１位となっている（2018年調査結果）。しかし、発達障害児者の多くはコミュニケーションを苦手としており、就労において不利になることが多い。そこで我々は、状況における表情認知能力の弱さに焦点をあて、行動・認知・生理指標の特徴から苦手とする原因を解明し、それに基づくトレーニング方法の導出と支援システムの開発を進めている。障害者就労においても、組織にとっては利益や高率性の追求が必要不可欠である。また、障害者が生きがい感じながら働くためにも最適な「業務の割り当て」は欠かせない。コロナ禍では、特に、職務内容を明確にしたジョブ型雇用、テレワークスキルの育成なども重要である。日々の業務において、IoT機器が業務内容を管理し、コミュニケーションを促進するといった新しい就労支援システムの開発を進めている。①開発した（Ekmanの６表情に対する発達障害児者の表情認知や表情表出の様子を検査する）システムを活用し、心理課題検査を通じ脳波測定などから特性を分析した。②表情解析・声解析技術により、豊かな表情を交えた感情表現を強化する訓練システムを開発した。③開発したスマートグラスを用いた対面でのコミュニケーションの支援システムを改良し、オンラインでのコミュニケーションを支援するシステムを開発した。④VRを用いたアンガーコントロールシステムを開発した。⑤IoT植木鉢を開発し、日常生活の支援や農作業の支援を検討中である。⑥開発したICT個別教育支援システムを活用し（学校内と家庭内の日々の行動履歴から）行動の変化を分析した。学校・保護者・専門家と事例検討会を定期的に行い検証を進めている。
