本研究の目的は、文系私立大学におけるデータサイエンス（DS）教育のための体系的なカリキュラムモデルを構築することである。先駆的な実践大学での調査、学内学部横断の意見収集、海外のDS教育に関する文献研究を通じて、体系的なカリキュラムモデルを実装するための構成要素を抽出した。それに基づいて、体系的なカリキュラムモデルの概念設計、科目群の検討、学部横断的な実施を実験的に行っている。段階実績として、以下の論文を関連学会で発表した。1)WCCE 2022 - IFIP TC3 World Conference on Computers in Education国際学会，Development of Education Curriculum in the Data Science Area for a Liberal Arts University。DSの人材育成は、あらゆる側面で緊急の課題となっている。しかし、私立の文系大学は、これに対応するカリキュラムを十分に確立しているとは言い難い。本論文では、このような問題を認識し、課題解決のための概念的なカリキュラムモデルを提案した。このモデルは、私立文系大学を対象としており、DSの知識を体系的に組み込み、基礎数学やITスキルの弱点を補うように設計されている。カリキュラムの知識領域、DS教育コースの実施方法、DSと専門教育の融合に関する観点も論じた。2)情報処理学会 第85回全国大会：文系私大生のDS教育におけるオンデマンド型授業の実践。私立文系大学の学生の特徴を配慮し、DS教育プログラムのカリキュラム科目群は、知識やスキルが難易度より階層的に構成されている。本稿では、これら科目のうち、筆者が担当した「データサイエンス」科目のオンデマンド方式による教育の実践において、そのシラバス設計、コンテンツ作成、授業実施の状況および評価について報告する。
