项目摘要

本研究は、戒厳令以降の台湾の教育政策と学校教育に着目して、多文化主義言説のもとで言語教育が担わされてきた役割と、それに伴い発展してきた言語間におけるアイデンティティ・ポリティックスの在り方を明らかにすることを目的とする。令和４年度では新型コロナウイルス感染症による影響により、延期されていた台湾でのフィールド調査を実施した。令和４年の９月から令和５年３月まで、訪問学者として台湾に渡航し、国立台湾師範大学教育学系の林子彬教授の指導のもとで半年間のフィールド調査を行った。その間、現地でエスノグラフィカル・ケーススタディを実施し、生徒が学校、家庭内、コミュニティのなかで、どの言語を学び、使用するように社会化されていくのかを小学校での参与観察と生徒に対する質問紙調査、教員へのインタビューを通して考察した。また、台湾国立図書館と国立教科書図書館で公教育で用いられてきた教科書とその当時の教育政策に関する資料収集を行なった。また、台湾の多文化主義における東南アジア言語教育の位置付けについて論じる論文が国際学術誌Comparative Educationに受理、掲載され、さらに今年度では、教員の言語教育を通したアイデンティティ交渉についての論文と、台湾の多言語教育におけるアイデンティティ政治についての論文２本をそれぞれ国際学術誌Cogent Education と Comparative Educationに投稿した。

This study aims at improving Taiwan's education policy and school education, and promoting multiculturalism in speech education. In 2004, the Ministry of Health conducted a survey on the impact of new infections in Taiwan. In September of 2004 and March of 2005, Lin Zibin, a visiting scholar from the Department of Education of National Taiwan Normal University, conducted a half-year survey. In the classroom, students, students, families, schools, language learning, and use of social media, students, and teachers participate in the investigation of students, students, and teachers. The National Library of Taiwan and the National Textbook Library of Taiwan have collected data on the use of textbooks and educational policies at the time. Taiwan's Multiculturalism in Southeast Asia and the Position of Speech Education in Southeast Asia Two papers on multi-language education in Taiwan were submitted to Cogent Education and Comparative Education.
