项目摘要

本研究は、日雇労働者の寄せ場である釜ヶ崎で展開されてきた表現活動や文化運動を対象に、社会的排除に抗する新たな包摂モデルを検討するものである。2022年度は大きく3つの研究に取り組んだ。1）まず、社会教育学の立場から、社会的排除に抗する包摂モデルをどのように構想できるのかを探るために、戦後の「社会教育と社会運動」についての学説史的検討を行った。この作業を通して排除への抵抗の基盤となるアイデンティティや共同性についての研究視座が重要であることを確認し、また近年の社会教育研究が採用している支援論的アプローチの限界性を明らかにした。その成果の一部は研究ノートとして公表した。2）次に、戦後釜ヶ崎での日雇労働者の文化運動についての研究に着手した。釜ヶ崎の日雇労働者は、建設業・港湾労働の雇用調整弁として労働市場から排除されてきたが、同時にその排除に抵抗する運動を展開してきた。本研究の計画段階では他の当事者主体の表現活動に焦点を当てていたが、調査を進める過程でそうした活動のルーツの一つであり、日雇労働者の生活文化や歴史を発信した『労務者渡世』（1974－1985）が、地域の表現活動や文化運動にとって重要であったことが分かり、研究計画を修正して『労務者渡世』についての史料分析及び編纂に関わった当事者への聞き取り調査を実施した。その結果、『労務者渡世』の編纂・出版を通して、排除への抵抗の基盤となるアイデンティティが形成されていることを明らかにした。その内容はすでに日本教育学会第81回大会で報告しており、今後論文として公表する予定である。3）さらに、NPO法人こえとことばとこころの部屋（ココルーム）の参与観察を継続実施し、排除に抵抗する基盤としての「共同性」構築において、表現の場に関わる主体の「応答性」が重要であることを確認した。次年度では、本調査で得られたデータの分析を進め、論文化を目指す。
