项目摘要

移動の文法特性と言語獲得の問題を中心に1年間、理論的研究と実証的研究を行なった。移動についての理論的な研究として、ChomskyやKayneの提唱する文法論が日本語の関係節の特性についてもつ説明力について分析をすすめ、この研究成果をベルリン大学で開催された関係節についての学会にて(招へい)発表した。この論文は日本語オペレーター移動による関係節が存在しないことに理論的な説明を与える事を主旨とするものである。更に、日本語にみられ、英語にはみれらない「関係節」の特徴的な文法問題として、「半分」などを主要部にもつ複合名詞句の統語的特徴についての分析をおこない、論文に纒めた。また、移動に関して時と場所を示す付加詞が項としてのふるまいを示す分析を執筆した。言語獲得ついては、アルバイトの学生一名とともに、自らの移動に関する実証的研究に加え、過去に発表されている言語獲得データの中から関係節の発話だけをとりだし、構造別に分類する作業をおこなった。その結果、関係節は2才の段階で既に獲得されており、そして、その多くは主格を関係節化するものであるが、他の文法類型についても観察されることを、約80ページのデータ集として纒めた。今後は、この一年の研究成果を礎に、移動全般についての文法特性と言語獲得について、更に研究を進めたい。
