The purpose of this report is to clarify the theory of the integrated curriculum in National schools practically.In this report, I especially investigated the integrated curricullum and subjects of science and mathematics.The following facts have been clarified :1.The curriculum of National Schools was based on the synthetic education theory in 1930's and 1940's in Japan.2.Especially the subjects of science and mathematics were constitvted in organic relation to each other.The fact is quite obvious in "The Observation of Nature" (Shizen no Kansatsu) in the first three grades, and "Elementary Science "(Shotoka-rika) in the fourth to the sixth grade of National schools.

本报告的目的是从实践中阐明国立学校综合课程的理论。在本报告中，我特别研究了综合课程和科学与数学科目。澄清了以下事实：1.国立学校的课程是基于日本1930年代和1940年代的综合教育理论。2.特别是科学与数学科目是相互有机联系的。 这一事实在国立学校前三年级的“自然观察”（Shizen no Kansatsu）和四年级至六年级的“基础科学”（Shotoka-rika）中非常明显。
