研究の成果【具体的内容】本研究では、本邦における男性不妊当事者へのインタビューから心理の機微を明らかにし、当事者が心理的安寧を得ることが出来る心理的支援プログラムの構築を目的としている。当該年度においては、第一段階である当事者へのインタビューに向けたインタビューガイドの作成ならびに当事者への心理的負荷の軽減・対策等を検討した。今後は研究協力施設の開拓ならびに当事者へのインタビューを実施・分析予定である。【意義】本邦において、当事者の心理の実態と当事者が求める心理的支援に関する研究を概観すると、男性不妊当事者の心理と求めている心理的支援の実態を把握している研究は未だ少なく、その実態を明らかにし、心理的支援プログラムを構築することは学術的独自性を有すると言える。さらに、具体的な心理的支援の構築は、日本の文化的背景を有する男性不妊当事者の心理的安寧を得ることに繋がることに意義があると考える。【重要性】令和2年に内閣府で閣議決定された少子化社会大綱の施策の具体的内容においても、不妊治療の経済的負担の軽減を図るため、広く医療保険の適用を検討し、支援を拡充する考えが示された。保険適用となり、支援が拡充されることに伴い、男性不妊外来の受診者数も増加することが予測される中で、男性不妊当事者への具体的な心理的支援の構築を行うことは急務だと考えられる。しかし、国内の研究では、男性不妊当事者に向けた具体的な心理的支援プログラムは認められず、男性不妊当事者の心理の機微を“当事者の語り”から明らかにし、その結果をもとに、心理的支援プログラムの詳細を構築するものであり、今後、我が国の男性不妊外来において具体的な心理的支援の一助になる点で重要性はあると考える。
