项目摘要

本研究は、2000年以降のラテンアメリカ諸国を事例として、各国の政策決定過程が安定的な資源開発政策を形成しやすいのかどうかを検討することを目的とする。この目的のために、平成26年度は、国内学会での研究成果の発表と情報収集、仮説構築と既存資料のレビュー、海外長期調査の実施、南米ボリビア、ペルーにおけるフィールドワーク調査と資料収集、といった研究実施計画を立てた。得られた成果は以下の通り。１．研究発表を行った。平成26年6月に日本比較政治学会にてペルーとエクアドルの鉱山開発に関連した抗議運動の比較分析について、同年9月16日にアジア大洋州ラテンアメリカ評議会にてペルーの鉱山開発に対する抗議運動について、同年9月に神戸大学国際政治経済ワークショップにて南米18カ国の資源開発に関連した抗議運動の計量分析について、同年11月に日本国際政治学会にて南米18カ国の資源開発に関連した抗議運動の比較分析について、それぞれ研究成果を発表した。２．これらの研究発表および平成25年度のパイロット調査で得られた知見をもとに、データベースをまとめて分析を行い、研究論文として発表した。３．予定としていた海外長期調査については、年次途中で身分が変わったため、渡航予定を変更した。平成27年2月～3月に南米ボリビアに赴いて鉱山政策の決定過程に関する現地フィールドワーク調査を行った。以上の成果は、当初予定していた目的と計画を十分に遂行するものである。第１に、研究成果はアジア経済研究所の研究双書の一部として公刊され、他の成果も随時発表予定である。第２に、今後の研究に資する現地調査を発展的に行うことができた。第３に、研究成果は、ラテンアメリカ地域研究や国際政治、比較政治を専門とする研究者に対して複数の場所で発表し、広く関心を集めることができた。
