项目摘要

本研究は、南アジアの参加型森林管理地においてアグロフォレストリー作物の共同販売を目的とする協同組合設立の意義と課題を、日本の協同組合の歴史と実態を踏まえて明らかにすることである。最終年となる平成26年度は、下記の３点を実施した。①日本において多品種少量農産物を生産し、販売方法が異なる、大分県下郷農協と大山農協を対象として、設立の経緯、事業展開の歴史について文献・資料調査、下郷農協では販売品目が異なる組合員に対して対面調査を実施した。畜産加工品の加工・流通体制の確立のために、農家と消費者の交流・連携、生産者側における有機農産物の品質保障体制、消費者サイドへの教育、情報発信の実態等についてデータを収集した。また、両組合は、農産物販売による農業活性化だけではなく、総合農協として中山間地域の福祉・医療、金融面などの生活面における役割についても対面調査で明らかとなった。②バングラデシュの平地林（マーメンシ・サルフォレスト）および丘陵林（テクナフ）の参加型森林管理に関係するアクター（参加農民、部落長、森林局、農産物流通業者、製材業、小売業等）への対面調査によって、アグロフォレストリー作物の流通、販売、加工段階におけるブローカーの介在、利益分配の実態、協同組合設立の可能性について対面調査を実施し、バリューチェーン分析を行った。また、社会林業地および国有林における少数民族の森林利用実態、販売作物とそのルート、違法伐採対策について林務局の資料を収集した。インドとネパールにおける参加型森林管理に関する既往文献を収集した。③前年度からのデータを取りまとめ、２つの原著論文と３つの国際学会（第24回国際森林研究機関連合（IUFRO）世界大会等）で研究成果を公表した。更に、２本の論文を投稿予定である。
