英文摘要
Zero Carbon Tariffs with Cashback for V2X enabled Non-domestic Customers project takes a holistic and climate-proof approach to a decentralized energy system through smart energy trading utilizing Vehicle to Grid technologies.According to National Grid's Future Energy Scenarios (2022), road transport's electricity demand will increase by 25% by 2050 to 133 TWh. With more intermittent renewable generation, electric heating and EV charging, energy costs for business customers have been increasing (\>30% in 2021). As more consumers own EVs, smart-charging and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) uptake will need to increase to integrate higher renewable supplies. This combined flexibility could lead to 32 GW of peak shaving in Consumer Transformation by 2050 (National Grid,2021). A smarter energy system could save £2.4-8 billion per year by 2030 (Carbon Trust,2016).Localised energy buying clubs with intelligent electricity trading and distributed control systems are seen as a scalable, efficient and cost-effective way to grow clean energy generation and manage peak demand using flexible assets including Electric vehicles, energy storage, while also delivering cost-effective green tariffs for customers. The main aim of this V2X project is to conduct industrial research on Qbots' innovative smart energy trading & optimisation platform, through a testbed at Keele University. Through scenarios testing, simulation & analytics, energy will be exchanged between buildings on Keele University's campus by utilising flexibility from Electric vehicle batteries, battery storage, generation and smart buildings. The learning will then be used to refine the platform and carry out pilot trials in commercial sites in the Greater Manchester and Warrington/Cheshire regions. The main objectives of the project are:1\. Carry out research on Vehicle to Everything systems that utilise smart technology for electricity trading, local balancing and value generation with Electric Vehicles.2\. Develop a state-of-the-art distributed energy resource management system for Electric Vehicle batteries along with building loads, generation and energy storage.3\. Set up the test-bed on the University campus to improve Qbots' Federated Power Plant (FPP) approach for optimising V2G enabled vehicles.4\. Implement and test multiple AI driven prediction and optimisation algorithms for operating a cutting-edge V2X platform utilizing data from V2G chargers installed in Keele University along with data from commercial environments.5\. Engage with stakeholders and finalize business models that create higher value from innovative V2X commercial propositions different to the grid services.6\. We will also investigate V2X energy barriers and challenges to innovative solutions that increase the deployment and uptake of V2X
