There are currently no fleet-management solutions for planning efficient routes and charging for EV last mile fleets.This creates a substantial roadblock for companies that would switch from diesel- or petrol-powered vehicles to electronic ones in line with the UK's Net-Zero goals for 2030. Current solutions for managing EV fleets do not consider consumption and charging station availabilities while planning routes and fleet deployment.Optrak is working to create route optimisation software for planning and controlling the use of EV and mixed fleets that considers consumption and charging station availability. Helping companies reduce carbon emissions will be especially beneficial for minority populations/urban communities in high-traffic areas where most of these vehicles operate regularly. Optrak will provide the only solution for planning the use and charging of entire EV fleets, not just a single vehicle.Optrak is a UK-based SME in working in logistics optimisation.
