We have a vision for a more affordable, focused and accessible way for people to get skills in videogame design that can get people hired in the sector.Next Level Up is an intensive peer-based training programme for the video games sector. The programme intends to mirror the experience of working in a real games design studio by having groups of participants with similar discipline-specific skillsets (art, programming, design) work in peer teams, assessing each other's work, providing continuous feedback and creating a safe space for growth. The programme is supported by an experienced industry professional and punctuated with masterclasses and career coaching, creating a unique hybrid model. All of this is delivered online and through a number of technology platforms to create a seamless experience that mimics real-world working practisesThe programme will give students a high-level portfolio piece, industry connections and an expanded multi-disciplinary network in a short time.
