SUMMARY The overarching goal of this P01 project is to develop a broadly effective vaccine to stop HCV transmission. The Admin Core is responsible for overseeing and supporting the research activities to accomplish four broad areas: Administrative and Fiscal Management, Communication Management, Scientific Oversight, Scientific Outreach. The Admin Core will be led by the P01 Program Director with the help of an Admin Core Manager to accomplish the following tasks: (i) fiscal oversight of the different research sites; (ii) facilitation of communication and reagent sharing between research labs; (iii) coordination of sample shipment and storage between the research sites; (iv) monitoring scientific progress through internal reviews and the annual scientific advisory board meeting; (v) assistance of researchers in the preparation and submission of scientific publications.
