eCom is excited to introduce SUPERIOR (SUPer-immErsive remote working via Virtual RealIty cOntrolled Robotics), project in collaboration with University of Glasgow who are providing access to their robotics lab via eCom's technology for VR and haptic controls. This project will transform the need for face to face Robotics training, and for engineers undertaking prototype development.Integrating Robotics with VR will invent a completely new process where expensive resources can be utilised for prototyping, modelling, assessment by researchers and students internationally in a 24/7 operation."We invented our process by focusing on how we can allow our students to work remotely to obtain the desired performance needed to complete their studies and then realised that merging our objective with eCom's technology capabilities, provided the feasibility of developing applications at commercial scale for engineers, without the current cost barriers of travel. It is our vision to provide a truly immersive experience, where students can see real-time their electronic build in process and the resulting oscilloscope via the VR interface."
